Welcome to the BEARS
We are excited!Updated Wednesday March 4, 2015 by Roland Park Baseball Leagues.
Good evening Bears players and parents,
Welcome to an exciting season of Roland Park Baseball some of you know me some are new, I'm Coach Curtis or Craig. I’ve been coaching at roland park for 4 years, two years in Tee-Ball and two years in the International league. Coaching with me will be Coach Pinkett or Leon and Coach Schulman or Ben The coaches and I strive to run a fun respectful team and give our kids the best opportunity to learn and grow as baseball players. Attached you will find the practice and game schedules. Although we have coaches we need a team admin to help the coaches. This person is in charge of the snack schedule, organizing our team basket and final team party. If you would like to help please let me know.
We will all meet for picture day.
, March 7is PICTURE DAY:
CATHEDRAL OF MARY OUR QUEEN (Gym) 5200 N. Charles St.
NATIONAL (Ages 9-10):
Players will meet their new teammates and coaches in the lower level of the Cathedral School gym. Jerseys and Hats will be distributed at this time, then, your team will be called upstairs for their team photo. Please have your child wear baseball pants and bring their glove for individual photos (if you choose that option). PLEASE NO CLEATS!
We start pictures at I ask we get to there by to distribute hats and shirts. A quick word about shirts they go by size and first come first serve. I realize we will do all we can to give your child the best fit and number combo but we don't get extras (at this time). We will do our best to accommodate all request.
Most of our practices are in March I suggest we look to have indoor practice at Extra Innings. Typically we have many practices rained out or canceled. We can decide on picture day with a simple vote. Most of the players are moving to a new division and new rules. We will need all the practice we can get to be an efficient team by the middle of the season.
If you have any questions please contact me I look forward to an exciting season of baseball.
